Zamia loddigesii Cycad seedling

Zamia loddigesii is a species of cycad native to Mexico and Central America. It's a small plant with a subterranean caudex (stem) that can reach up to 12 cm in diameter. The leaves are palm-like and can grow between 40 and 150 cm long. This cycad is known for its clumping growth habit and does not form an above-ground trunk.
