Stangeria eriopus Cycad seedling

Stangeria eriopus is a truly unique cycad native to the coastal forests and grasslands of southern Africa. It’s the sole species in the genus Stangeria, and its delicate, feather-like leaves set it apart from all other cycads. Stangeria grows from a subterranean, carrot-shaped tuber, which stores nutrients and allows it to survive drought. 

Plants are sent bare root, are kept moist and safely secured in their packaging. They can survive this way for up to 2 weeks.
