Bowenia serrulata, commonly known as the Byfield Fern, is a cycad native to the Byfield area in central-eastern Queensland, Australia. It has palm-like, bipinnate fronds that arise from a subterranean caudex, giving it the appearance of a fern. The fronds are leathery, shiny, and can grow up to 1.5 meters tall. It grows in sheltered, moist areas in open forests, sometimes in moderately dry sites.

Plants are sent bare root, are kept moist and safely secured in their packaging. They can survive this way for up to 2 weeks.
